The Lilac Ogee Moulding is a decorative marble trim that adds an elegant, classical detail to tiled walls. It’s made from Lilac marble, quarried in Muğla, Türkiye. The white background is marked with veining in shades of lilac, purple and darker tones, giving the stone a distinctive, sophisticated character. This is the premium selection from the Lilac marble family, chosen for a higher degree of uniformity than other grades from the quarry, so colour and pattern are more consistent from piece to piece.
The ogee profile is a traditional S-shaped curve that has been used in architecture for centuries. It creates a graceful, three-dimensional edge that catches the light beautifully. Use the moulding as a dado or border line to break up a tiled wall, as a decorative edging along the top of a splashback, or to frame mirrors, niches and feature areas. It comes in a honed finish for a soft, matt look, or a polished finish for a glossy surface that highlights the stone’s veining.
